The Journey from Jaisalmer to Kuldhara

Kuldhara was once a prosperous village of Paliwal Brahmins, known for their agriculture and architecture. According to legend, the entire village of over 80 families vanished overnight around the early 19th century. The most popular story claims that the villagers left to protect their honor from a tyrannical ruler, Salim Singh, who wanted to marry a local girl against her will.
